Theory of high-power CO2 molecular amplifiers

Abstract: A relatively simple analytic method is proposed for calculating the energy and time characteristics of highpressure CO2 amplifiers. An analysis of the amplifier operation is based on the selection of a series of limiting regimes by establishing a hierarchy of relaxation processes involving molecules in the active medium. The results of calculations are in good agreement with the experimental data.
