Abstract:
A pulse-periodic laser with an Nd3+:YAlO3 active element was constructed. A self-pumping phase-conjugating mirror, based on a saturated-gain grating of the active medium, in combination with a stimulated-Brillouin-scattering mirror, made it possible to generate high-power pulses by Q switching and to maintain the diffraction quality of the beam
