Spectroscopy of the OsO4 and SF6 molecules by a tunable high-pressure CO2 waveguide laser

E. N. Bazarov, G. A. Gerasimov, A. I. Sazonov
Abstract: The development is reported of a cw high-pressure CO2 waveguide laser having a tuning band of 1.2 GHz within the strong P-branch lines of the 00o1–10o0 transition in CO2 (P12–P24). Absorption spectra of the OsO4 and SF6 molecules were investigated with a resolution of 10–7 by the method of nonlinear spectroscopy using this laser.
