Atmospheric-air continuous-wave CO2 laser

Abstract: A description is given of a fast-flow open-cycle CO2 laser utilizing a mixture of atmospheric air and carbon dioxide at pressures of 40–100 Torr. The results are given of measurements of the output radiation power as a function of the air humidity, CO2 concentration, and power supplied to the discharge chamber.
