Abstract: Four-frequency and two-stage three-frequency interactions are considered as the basis of two autocorrelation methods. The second method is more effective in the case of noncentrosymmetric media. Autocorrelations of objects obtained experimentally are reproduced and it is shown that autocorrelators can be used to cancel out the phase distortions introduced in the Fresnel zone.
