Laser frequency self-stabilization effect in the presence of rapid perturbations
V. M. Gelikonov, Yu. I. Zaĭtsev, G. B. Malykin
Abstract:
The response time of the laser frequency self-stabilization effect was investigated. The influence of the resonator-length modulation frequency F on the self-stabilization coefficient SF was studied experimentally for a He–Ne/CH4 laser. A reduction in the quantity SF–1 by a factor of two was found at a modulation frequency much higher than the self-width of the output power peak.
