Investigation of an interference modulator based on a multimode channel waveguide in LiNbO3

S. I. Bozhevol'nyi, K. S. Buritskiĭ, E. M. Zolotov, A. M. Prokhorov, V. A. Chernykh
Abstract: The parameters of diffused channel waveguides in Y-cut LiNbO3 were determined and the mode field distributions were calculated. Various operating conditions in an interference modulator were analyzed and the values of the control voltage were determined as a function of the distance between electrodes.
