Analysis of "anisotropic" properties of waveguide holograms formed in isotropic materials

Yu. A. Bykovskiĭ, A. V. Kazakevich, V. F. Lamekin, A. V. Mironos, V. L. Smirnov
Abstract: Formation of transmission and reflection grating structures when waveguide holograms are recorded by external means is responsible for the dependence of the diffraction efficiency on the polarization of the reconstructing wave. An analysis is made of the influence of the geometry in the recording and reconstruction stages on the degree of "anisotropy" of waveguide holograms.
