Abstract: An experimental investigation was made of intracavity second harmonic generation (SHG) at λ =0.66 µ using an electrooptically Q-switched pulsed YAG:Nd3+ laser. In the 100% conversion regime using LiIO3 crystals, the average radiation power was 1 W at a pulse repetition frequency of 50 Hz in the multimode regime. Some characteristics of intracavity SHG at the λ =0.66 µ wavelength are discussed.
