Raman and hyper-Raman submillimeter emission from ammonia molecules

Abstract: Three Raman lasing lines of ammonia were observed. Frequency tuning of an NH3 laser (λ = 291.2 μm) by 230 MHz was demonstrated under hyper-Raman emission conditions.
