Role of cell walls in experiments on light-induced drift
P. L. Chapovskii, A.M. Shalagin
Abstract:
In a set of experiments aimed at observing a light-induced drift of atoms and molecules, it was found that particle drift due to a difference between the characteristics of collisions of excited and unexcited particles with cell walls was not observed. The observed changes in the gas state were completely due to a volume light-induced drift.
