Abstract: A study was made of the possibility of conversion of infrared radiation in an AgGaS2 crystal for use in a nonlinear spectrograph. Scanning was performed by varying the pump frequency. The resolution achieved in the 10.6 μ range was 1.2 cm–1. The nonlinear spectrograph was used in a study of the emission spectrum of a CO2 laser.
