Structure of fields in self-pumped stimulated Brillouin scattering lasers

Abstract:
It was found experimentally that in ring lasers with one of the mirrors formed due to the parameteric interaction of waves the radiation which evolves from the spontaneous noise is not generally reversed in respect of the spatial structure compared with the pump radiation. However, wavefront reversal is realized in the case of mechanisms which ensure preferential amplification of the mode which is reversed relative to the pump radiation.
