Comments on the fluorescence decay times of NdUP

Abstract: A report is given of measurements of the fluorescence lifetimes of neodymium ultraphosphate NdUP (NdP5O14) single crystals. The dependence of the measured lifetimes on the number of excited molecules is given. According to the proposed mechanism, the reduction in the lifetime is due to intermolecular interactions in this highly concentrated material.
