Optical strength of the surfaces of optical materials and mirrors at wavelengths of 248 and 193 nm

A. D. Klementov, N. V. Morozov, S. I. Sagitov, P. B. Sergeev
Abstract: A determination was made of the thresholds of the optical breakdown of air on the surfaces of polished quartz, fluorite, magnesium fluoride, and leucosapphire samples by radiation of wavelengths 193 and 248 nm in the form of pulses of 60 and 80 nsec, respectively. The optical strength of some systems of mirrors was determined for ArF and KrF laser radiations.
