Influence of mirror deformation on the characteristics of lasers with unstable resonators

Yu. B. Konev, V. A. Feofilaktov
Abstract: A numerical solution of a transcendental equation, representing the condition of steady-state stimulated emission from lasers with unstable resonators subject to an allowance for changes in the resonator parameters because of thermoelastic mirror deformation, is used to study the dependence of the output power on the coupling coefficient of the undeformed resonator and on the characteristics of the active medium and mirrors.
