Control of the frequency of a dye laser by a holographic grating based on a semiconductor–metal system

Abstract:
Measurements were made of the conversion efficiency (22%), of the half-width of the emission line (less than 0.1 nm), and of the superradiance level (0.2%) in the case of a grazing-incidence laser the output frequency of which was controlled by semiconductor-metal holographic grating. The parameters of this laser were not inferior to those of similar lasers with holographic gratings made of organic photoresist materials.
