Abstract:
It was established that organic dye lasers could be used in very-high-sensitivity laser spectroscopy based on the selection of losses in the resonator. A smooth emission spectrum was obtained for rhodamine G and the abosrption spectrum of I2 with an absorption coefficient of ~10–3 cm–1 was recorded in the 16450–17950-cm–1 range.
