Changes in the reflectivity of metallic films as a result of heating with short laser radiation pulses

G. R. Levinson, V. I. Smilga
Full-text PDF (692 kB) Citations (6)
Abstract: An investigation was made of the reflectivity of opaque metallic films during and after illumination with nanosecond laser pulses. The reduction in the reflectivity was interpreted on the basis of the Drude–Zener theory allowing for the temperature dependence of the electron-phonon scattering. The experimental and calculated results were compared.
