High-power nitrogen laser

Abstract:
A detailed description is given of a pulsed nitrogen laser emitting 2.1 MW or 0.011 J per pulse at λ = 337.1 nm. The use of a high-permittivity ceramic made it possible to construct a simple excitation system which could be used and tuned conveniently.
