Streamer excitation of lasing at high repetition frequencies

Abstract:
Packet pulsed operation of a semiconductor streamer laser was achieved at pulse repetition frequencies up to ~ 10 MHz. The average power of the output radiation was ~ 10 mW (for CdS), which was between two and three orders of magnitude higher than the published values. A high-power compact laser with these parameters was constructed.
