Method for reconstruction of the phase of an optical field

Abstract: A description is given of a method for reconstruction of the optical field from two measured distributions of the intensity in the spatial spectrum before and after small changes in the size of a stop. Two algorithms implementing this method are proposed and their stability is investigated.
