Determination of vibrational temperatures in the active media of CO2 lasers

V. V. Nevdakh
Full-text PDF (717 kB) Citations (1)
Abstract: Rigorous expressions are obtained, on the basis of a temperature model, for determining vibrational temperatures of CO2 from the ratio of the gains for the lines of the auxiliary and main laser transitions. The spontaneous emission probabilities Amn (J) for the laser transitions 0002– [ 1001,0201]I,II are determined and approximated by analytical expressions.
