Physical phenomena in the generation and amplification laser

Influence of self-emission on the kinetics of electron-beam-pumped excimer lasers

A. M. Popov, O. B. Popovicheva, T. V. Rakhimova
Abstract: An investigation was made of the influence of self-emission from a high-power electron-beam-pumped KrF laser on the electron energy spectrum and kinetic processes in the medium. It was found that this can alter the form of the electron energy distribution function although at high beam currents the lasing and most of the kinetic processes are stable with respect to the self-emission.
