Abstract:
A large phase-matched spectral bandwidth of 220 nm with simultaneous angular acceptance reaching 83 mrad was achieved in detection of near-infrared radiation by critically phase-matched up-conversion utilising for the first time the technique of dispersion matching in a beta barium borate crystal and the commonly available Nd :YAG laser radiation as the pump.
