Abstract: Theoretical and experimental investigations were made of a noise-induced dynamic polarisation bistability and antiphase chaotic modulation of the intensities of the eigenstates of an anisotropic single-mode He — Ne laser ( λ = 1.15 μm). The two effects were investigated for harmonic changes in the pump current with passage across the threshold.
