Influence of a quenching agent on parameters of stimulated enthalpy scattering in iodine photodissociation lasers

Abstract: An analysis is made of the influence of quenching of excited iodine on the parameters of stimulated enthalpy scattering in iodine photodissociation lasers. It is shown that the stability of the active mixtures of these lasers during evolution of stimulated scattering by thermal waves may be improved by selecting a suitable quenching agent and a suitable concentration.
