Control of laser radiation parameters

Feasibility of reducing the width of an emission line of a gas ring laser stabilized using phase resonances

M. V. Danileĭko, A. L. Kravchuk, A. M. Tselinko, L. P. Yatsenko
Abstract: A method for recording phase resonances in gas ring lasers was proposed and implemented. This method made it possible to use a high modulation frequency and consequently to widen considerably the active band when phase resonances were used as frequency resonance points. The width of an emission line of an He–Ne laser (λ = 0.63 μm) was ~ 6 kHz when the emission frequency was stabilized.
