Optimization of conditions of four-wave interaction of cw radiation in an absorbing medium

Abstract:
An analysis is made of the optimization of the conditions of a four-wave interaction of cw radiation in an absorbing liquid. Reflection of a plane signal wave without distortion of its wavefront with a power reflection coefficient of 75% is reported for cw CO2 laser radiation.
