Lasers

Automatic control of a tunable dye laser with an electrodynamic drive for rotation of a diffraction grating

V. S. Shishkovskiĭ, O. N. Kompanets, N. V. Marchenko
Abstract: An automated system was constructed for absolute calibration and setting of the wavelength of radiation emitted by a tunable dye laser. An electrodynamic drive was used to rotate a diffraction grating. The system included a microcomputer and a Camac interface. The system is used in the currently available laser spectrometers.
