Lasers

Dependence of the duration of the output pulses of a lead vapor laser on the temperature, concentration, and nature of the buffer gas

S. R. Davtyan, A. A. Nazaryan, A. O. Nazaryan, G. E. Rylov
Abstract: The optical emission spectrum and the duration of pulses emitted from a lead vapor laser were determined under self-heating conditions. The pulse duration decreased on increase in the buffer gas concentration, but it was not affected by variation of temperature.
