Diffraction components for integrated optics

M. Miler, V. N. Morozov, A. N. Putilin
Abstract: An analysis is made of the operating conditions of grating components for integrated optics and of the main methods used in fabrication of these components. Special attention is given to holographic fabrication methods and to the characteristics of reconstruction of waveguide holograms of one- and two-dimensional objects. Integrated optical devices and circuits for optical data processing utilizing grating components are described.
