Abstract:
An investigation was made of the efficiency of conversion of XeCl excimer laser radiation of various energies and with different pulse durations in solutions of organic compounds lasing in the range 390 — 400 nm. This efficiency fell with increase in the duration and the power density of the pump pulses. Possible reasons for this fall are discussed.
