Singlet oxygen generator of the atomizer type

B. D. Barmashenko, V. A. Kochelap, L. Yu. Mel'nikov
Abstract: A theoretical model is developed of an atomizer-type generator of O2(1Δ) intended for an O2(1Δ)–I laser. Various operating regimes of this generator are considered. It is shown that a high O2(1Δ) productivity can be achieved simultaneously with a high degree of excitation of the oxygen. A study is made of the operating regimes of the generator which can ensure high O2(1Δ) densities up to 100 kPa. Other advantages of such a generator are also considered.
