Feasibility of shortening picosecond infrared radiation pulses in semiconductors

V. D. Taranukhin
Full-text PDF (321 kB) Citations (1)
Abstract: A theoretical analysis is made of the possibility of shortening picosecond infrared radiation pulses by propagation in semiconductors. The shortening is due to a change in the density of free carriers as a result of interband absorption of the propagating pulses.
