Dynamic characteristics of adaptive optical systems

Abstract:
An analysis is made of the dependence of the Strehl ratio of an optical system with correction of distortions on the time delay. A comparison is made of the efficiency of two adaptive correction systems: one with a constant delay and the other when not only a function but its derivative are used in correction. The required frequency band of an adaptive optical system is determined.
