Focusing systems for the millimeter range

Abstract:
A system was constructed for focusing millimeter-range monochromatic radiation with a spherical or plane wavefront into a rectilinear segment of a straight line. The system consisted of zone components made using numerically controlled machine tools. An investigation of the resultant image indicated that the width of a focal strip formed in this.
