Abstract: A static waveguide CO laser with high-frequency excitation of the active medium was developed and investigated. A study was made of the influence of the addition of various gases on the stability of the high-frequency discharge and on the output power of the laser. When the pump frequency was 125 MHz and the pressure in the mixture was 100 Torr, the output power was 0.3 W.
