Collimation of soft x radiation

Abstract:
An analysis is made of the method of collimation of soft x rays from a laser plasma and the experimental results obtained by this method are reported. Collimation was achieved by propagation across a planar waveguide structure formed by plane-parallel glass plates coated by chromium films and separated by a gap of 200 μ.
