Analysis of a calculation model for a pulsed DF–CO2 chemical laser

V. Ya. Agroskin, B. G. Bravy, V. I. Kir'yanov
Abstract: Computer calculations have been made of the characteristics of a pulsed DF–CO2 chemical laser and these are compared with the experimental results. The model incorporates a separate description of the chemical reaction and stimulated emission kinetics. A comparison is made with the results of calculations made by other authors. An analysis shows that existing models do not give satisfactory agreement with the experiment. The probable reasons for this disagreement are considered.
