Adaptive equalization of the intensities of the spectral components of multifrequency lasers
V. I. Kravchenko, A. I. Lyushchenko, O. I. Yushchuk
Abstract:
An investigation was made of the spectral and temporal kinetics of the operation of a laser with a photochromic glass inside a nonselective dispersive resonator. This system equalized the intensities of the spectral components of the stimulated radiation and effectively suppressed the competition between them. Under certain conditions there were "forks" in the spectral kinetics of lasing of the kind typical of active media characterized by an inhomogeneously broadened line profile.
