Physical processes in lasers

Dynamics of single-pulse stimulated emission from a neodymium laser with positive electrooptic feedback

A. V. Agashkov
Abstract: A theoretical analysis is made of the lasing dynamics and of the dependence of the lasing parameters of a single-mode laser on the parameters of a positive electrooptic feedback loop. The calculations confirmed the previous assumption that programmable control of the laser output parameters may be achieved by altering the bias voltage across the electrooptic switch and across the anode of a controlling photocell.
