Full-text PDF (577 kB) Citations (1)
Abstract: A semiclassical approximation for the field of nonaxial modes is used to calculate the lasing threshold and the angular distribution of the radiation emitted by electron-beam-excited semiconductor lasers. The results obtained are compared with the experimental data for transversely pumped lasers.
