Abstract:
A new laser method was developed for the fabrication of microoptic components, including large-aperture microlenses and microobjectives based on them. Such components can be used in fiber-optic communication lines, in integrated-optics devices, in laser technology, and in scanning optics. A description is given of a physical model of local laser sintering. The main types of microoptic components are listed and their characteristic parameters are given.
