Phase self-matching of waves in self-switching of light in nonlinear tunnel-coupled waveguides

A. A. Maier
Full-text PDF (584 kB) Citations (1)
Abstract: A theoretical investigation is made of the relationship between the phases of the optical waves when they interact in cubic nonlinear tunnel-coupling dielectric waveguides. It is shown that waves in neighboring waveguides become cophasal under self-switching conditions.
