Picosecond spectral and temporal analyzer of the fluorescence of biological and model objects

A. A. Demidov, G. M. Esayan, Ya. L. Kalaĭdzidis, L. B. Rubin
Abstract: A picosecond spectral and temporal analyzer of the fluorescence was developed for the 300–900 nm range with a time resolution down to 10 psec. A study was made of the kinetics of the emission of a fluorescence band 36 nm wide on excitation of a sample with a single pulse of 25 psec duration and of wavelengths in the 400–800 nm range. A special attachment made it possible to cumulate the signal in various parts of a computer memory, depending on the special range of the signal and on the energy of the exciting pulse.
