Noncollinear stimulated Raman scattering by polaritons in an LiIO3 crystal

Abstract: Investigations were made of the distributions of the intensity in spatial-angular structures of the polariton stimulated Raman scattering in LiIO3 when ultrashort pulses were applied to samples cut at different angles relative to the optic axis. The main experimental results were explained by calculations of the processes of spontaneous and stimulated Raman scattering by polaritons.
