Switching of radiation in tunnel-coupled optical waveguides by weak radiation frequency

A. A. Maier
Abstract: It is shown that abrupt and complete transfer of the power of strong (pump) radiation from the exit of one waveguide to the exit of another is possible as a result of a small change in the power of a weak (control) signal of different frequency applied to the entry of one of the waveguides.
