Abstract:
Continuous-wave stimulated emission from a neon ionic laser was achieved at seven wavelengths. A radiation power of 0.75 W was obtained at the Ne II 332.4, 334.5, and 337.8 nm wavelengths in a metal-ceramic discharge tube. The threshold currents for these lines were lower than those for the ultraviolet Ar III lines.
