Misaligned laser resonator with inhomogeneous optical components

Full-text PDF (463 kB) Citations (1)
Abstract: A method is developed for the calculation of the parameters of Hermitian–Gaussian beams which describe well the eigenmodes of resonators with inhomogeneous optical components and misaligned mirrors. The conditions for continuous operation of misaligned resonators are found. It is shown that mirror misalignment makes a major contribution to the energy and interference criteria of continuous lasing.
